Backstage News on John Cena winning the titles at Money In The Bank
Regarding John Cena possibly winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title on Sunday, the plan as of over a week ago was for Cena to win the title but word today is that the plan may be changed after the Summer Slam poster leaked earlier this week. Apparently even if the finish is switched on Sunday and Cena doesn't win the title just yet, the plan is still for Brock Lesnar vs. champion Cena to headline SummerSlam.

John Cena, U.S. Champion Sheamus & Roman Reigns def. Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro & Alberto Del Rio
Four on three? No problem. For the second time in two weeks, John Cena, Sheamus & Roman Reigns overcame the odds to defeat their Money in the Bank foes, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro & Alberto Del Rio in a rematch of SmackDown’s furious main event. Looking to avoid a repeat loss, Orton, Del Rio, Cesaro and Wyatt each teed off on Cena and Reigns in the early goings, forcing the 14-time World Champion and former WWE Tag Team Champion to summon Sheamus in order to stave off defeat.
True to form, the U.S. Champion had better luck, rampaging his way through Cesaro with Ten (well, thirteen) Beats of the Bodhrán before Orton interfered and set off a brawl that ended with a Brogue Kick to Cesaro’s chin and a subsequent 1-2-3. The post-match emergence of Kane threw everyone into a frenzy, though, as The Devil’s Favorite Demon laid waste to everyone moments before Triple H reappeared and declared Kane the eighth participant in the Championship Ladder Match. Now these seven Superstars will dance with the demon in the pale moonlight … though if Roman Reigns’ Spear to Kane is any indication, at least one of them is ready for the challenge.
John Cena wins Award
WWE received three Sports Social TV Awards at the second annual Sports Social TV Awards. WWE won awards for "Best Special Event" (Wrestlemania 29), "Best Social Commerce or Marketing Program" (WWE) and "Social TV Sports Entertainer of the Year" (John Cena).

Backstage News on who will win the Titles at Money In the Bank
It was previously reported that word from within WWE was that a heel would be leaving Money In the Bank with the title. During Monday's RAW, it appeared they may be grooming Roman Reigns for the title as they had him work his way into the match but that may not be the case as it's likely too soon for Reigns to have a title run.

Tensions mounted between WWE World Heavyweight Title Ladder Match combatants
Poised and ready to compete in the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Ladder Match at WWE Money in the Bank, John Cena kicked off SmackDown – recapping how the unprecedented match came about and asserting that he would reign supreme to become a 15-time World Champion!
Save Bray Wyatt, the Cenation leader’s imminent adversaries (and Paul Heyman) each emerged to dispute his claim and explain why they would be the victorious Superstar in the pay-per-view showdown.
The volatile situation reached a boiling point when Roman Reigns leaped out of the ring to initiate a fierce brawl with Randy Orton. Moments later, Cena and Unites States Champion Sheamus engaged Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio, sending both The Mexican Aristocrat and The King of Swing packing. The intensity generated by this turmoil would only add to the electricity surrounding the 4-on-3 Handicap Match, SmackDown’s scheuled main event.
Sheamus, Roman Reigns and John Cena win 4-on-3 Handicap Match
In an intriguing SmackDown main event, the combatant in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match at Money in the Bank squared off in a 4-on-3 Handicap bout, with United States Champion Sheamus, Roman Reigns and John Cena going head-to-head with Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro and Randy Orton.
In the height of the fierce encounter, Reigns was finally tagged into the powder keg of a contest. This resulted in the “volcanic” Superstar unleashing absolutely aggression on every one of his opponents, before hitting Del Rio with The Spear to give himself, The Celtic Warrior and the leader of the Cenation the victory.
11 Superstars on the matches that changed their lives
“The match that changed my life was my first match. As the outreach of NXT grows and grows, WWE developmental is changing. A lot of times, NXT Superstars are already recognized by the time they get to WWE. In the days of yore, developmental was just that. You were like a Minor League Baseball player. People might have known of you, but they knew very little about you. Once you made it on TV and had an official debut it was like, ‘ OK,I'm on TV now.The legwork of getting to television is over. The story is now truly beginning.’
“It wasn’t the match itself, or the body of the match, it was the fact that it happened. It’s not that I was more or less accepted backstage. I didn’t have a sense of entitlement, achievement or acceptance. I knew I had a start. And if you look back, it was an improper start, but a start nonetheless. It just didn’t work. The situation I was put in wasn’t the right time. I would soon evolve into something extremely different and go from there. But the most important thing about it was it was a beginning. You can’t have a good story without a beginning.” — JOHN CENA
Wizard World 2014: John Cena wrestles with celebrity and the future
WHENEVER JOHN CENA - "The face of the WWE" and holder of a record number of championships - is determined to do something, he simply does it. Nothing can stop him.
What Cena says he wants to do this weekend is "have fun ordering out a cheesesteak" and then take Wizard Con Philly by storm.
"I have an appearance there from 1 to 2:30 Sunday and then . . . I have a show that night," Cena said. "I'm happy to be able to do it. I'd love to do all day."
Cena says he is "flattered" by those fans who call him a hero and understands why despite a clean-cut image, he is a polarizing figure.
"I'm a very strong individual," he said. "When you have a set of ideals and make them really well-known, people either like them or they don't."
When told he ranks with Hulk Hogan and the Rock as one of the most popular wrestlers ever, Cena remains humble.
"That's pretty important company," Cena said. "I just really love doing what I do and anyone who comes to the Con or the show will be able to see that."
It's hard to imagine that this man who seems to have it all was sleeping in his car when he first arrived in California, but Cena said his journey from then to now has been "fast."
"A lot's happened," he said. "Physically, I'm just getting started. There's plenty left to do. Every day is another opportunity. So it's been a long and great ride."
It's a ride he feared he would continue taking without his 70-year-old father, unless his dad started taking care of himself. So Cena devised a plan for his father to get healthier, starting with diet.
"Once my dad said he was all for it, it was easy," Cena said. "But the initial conversation was tough. But, because my plan is extremely easy, everything worked out . . . and here he is on his 70th birthday, 53 pounds lighter from when he started.
"We were always very close, but that brought us closer."
The day, too, is drawing closer to when Cena will stop wrestling. He says that although he has done a few films, he does not see himself going in the direction of the Rock.
"Oh, no," Cena said. "Dwayne? There's only one Dwayne Johnson. I'd like to be myself, so I'll find a path doing something. I don't know if it's going to be filling his shoes. He's set the bar pretty high."

Former WWE Superstar talks about John Cena:
Former WWE Superstar Brodus Clay recently appeared on the Roman Show. Here's what he said about John Cena.
"He is a pro. He comes to work everyday. He is straight forward and tells you exactly what it is. One of my things was I didn't get to work a match with him. I would have dropped the weight I did and keep the muscle I have. He is a great leader in terms of he talks it; he walks it. He is the face of the WWE and likely so."
"He (Cena) gave us all an opportunity to train and have the same training regiment. The training of the NBA and NFL with Olympic lifts for maintenance, for power, better cardiovascular. He was on the forefront. He gave guys an opportunity."
Money In The Bank Fantasy Bookings and Thoughts
John Cena Visits Brittany Depew:
INDEPENDENCE, Ky. – WWE wrestling superstar John Cena sure knows how to make a dream come true – twice.
While 21-year-old Brittany Depew has been battling terminal cancer, her big wish has been to meet Cena. He already sang “Happy Birthday” to her in a video message, but he bettered that Tuesday when his big motorcoach rolled up her street in Independence.
Cena brought gifts for Depew – including a few more of his ‘Never Give Up” T-shirts that she already wears. But we’re guessing nothing was better than the big hugs he gave her.
Depew recently reached out to Cena on Twitter with a sign saying, “My leukemia is past the stage of being cured.”
Two weeks ago, Cena sent her birthday greetings.
Depew is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia a third time, according to her Facebook page..
Depew, who has Down syndrome, won homecoming queen at Simon Kenton High School last fall and she recently graduated.
But we’re guessing today’s meeting with Cena is No. 1 on her list.

John Cena and The Shield Def. The Wyatt Family
Maybe the Cenation and The Hounds of Justice should have joined forces sooner. Despite the stiff resistance The Wyatts met from the impromptu team of their most recent enemies, the unlikely allies proved every bit as dominant as the original-recipe Shield had been not two weeks ago.
Dean Ambrose shouldered the majority of the load early on, starting against Erick Rowan but throwing punches at Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt as well. The Eater of Worlds and his brood wisely let The Lunatic Fringe punch himself out and held strong once Cena finally entered the fray. Bray Wyatt, no longer the shepherd in the valley of darkness but rather “reborn” as a destroyer, all but feasted on the Cenation leader, but it was Roman Reigns – as ever – who proved to be the equalizer when he cut Luke Harper down with a massive Spear. If the victory served as a warning to Seth Rollins, it’s safe to say The Architect – observing on a monitor with Triple H backstage– got the message loud and clear.
Raw Results ( June 9 2014):
Seth Rollins Broke His Silence
Well, enough about the poor Mr. Ambrose and Mr. Reigns, onto the rich and prosperous Mr. Rollins. Breaking his silence with a sit-down interview alongside Michael Cole, the Hounds of Justice’s resident turncoat did just that. With a demeanor as snug as the black-on-black suit that he wore to the ring, Rollins defended his right to destroy his own creation and denounced the “lunatic” Ambrose and “golden boy” Reigns as inferior competitors who rode his coattails to success.
Rollins also revealed he subscribed wholeheartedly to Triple H’s “evolve or perish” philosophy, and hadn’t so much sold out as bought into a better opportunity than the “business relationship” he’d had with The Shield. Having said his words, Rollins then dared The Shield to make good on their earlier promise to make him eat them, but The Aerialist took flight when the timely arrival of The Wyatts provided him cover for a quick escape. It took none other than John Cena to even the odds and send The Wyatts scurrying, which led to the upside: Looks like The Shield found themselves a partner.

John Cena Feuding with a Newcomer?
What Happened after Raw Went Off Air? (2 June 2014)
Cena came out, and then out was Bray Wyatt, who was wearing Mankind-like sweat pants. Cena was teasing Bray and then Bray hinted at a match before calling himself a god and turning down the match. This then turned into a sing-a-long with Bray singing "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands," and Cena sang, "You got no pearls in your pants!"
Bray finally faked a rush and the bell sounded. Bray was outside of the ring and waited until the 8 count before getting in the ring and the match was on. The end of the match saw Bray and Cena both kicked out of each other's finishers. The referee got knocked down and Cena locked in the STF. The Wyatt Family rushed the ring and beat down Cena. They went to hit Cena with a kendo stick, but Cena ducked and hit an AA on Bray to get the win.

Raw Results (2 June 2014):
John Cena interrupted Stephanie McMahon
Payback truly was a you-know-what for Stephanie McMahon at Payback; Brie Bella turned the tables on WWE's principal owner by taking control of Stephanie’s impossible ultimatum to Daniel Bryan – rather than allow Bryan to choose between the title and Brie losing her job, the Bella Twin quit and slapped Stephanie square across the face. The boss lady was, of course, not amused by any of this, and issued a final ultimatum to Bryan as a result: He must defend the title against Kane in a stretcher match at Money In The Bank, or the title would be stripped and put up for grabs in the Money in the Bank Match.
The victorious John Cena chose this time to make his presence known, and floated the idea that perhaps Stephanie's vendetta that has clouded her judgment and compromised her ability to run WWE (what he actually said was, "you suck"). Unfortunately for Cena, regardless of any impromptu evaluations, Stephanie does have one card up her sleeve at all times: Kane himself, who emerged from the fire at her command to face the Cenation leader one-on-one.
John Cena def Kane Via Disqualifcation
And he didn’t even have to embrace the hate to do it. Granted, John Cena was already in touch with his darker side after a months-long psychological war with Bray Wyatt, so facing off against his masked tormentor of yesteryear was right in the Cenation’s current wheelhouse. Alas, Cena’s Last Man Standing clash with Wyatt also left him too weak to finish Kane off when the opportunity was ripe, and The Devil’s Favorite Demon had no qualms with sacrificing a DQ loss for the sake of beating Cena within an inch of unconsicousness. Cena got away in one piece by hauling the steel steps into the demon’s face, but the escape was a narrow one at best. Next time he might not be so lucky.
WWE Payback 2014 Result
John Cena Def. Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match
CHICAGO — At WWE Payback, the intensely personal rivalry between John Cena and Bray Wyatt wasn’t decided by eerie sing-alongs or metaphor-laden diatribes. Rather, it was the Cenation leader’s unequaled resilience that proved to be the definitive salvo in this months-long battle for the very soul of the WWE Universe.
After Cena silenced the eerie orator at WrestleMania 30, “The Man of 1,000 Truths” was undeterred in his quest to transform Cena — one of the most charismatic and indomitable WWE Superstars in history — into a monster. That mission brought both of these warriors to a savage Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules, where Wyatt’s apparent sway over the Cenation’s youngest and most passionate members helped the backwoods preacher capture a tainted victory over the 14-time World Champion, tying them at one win apiece.
As Wyatt continued to prey on the conscience of the WWE Universe, proclaiming himself a god and leading his legions of mystified followers in creepy choruses of “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” Cena agreed to his silver-tongued nemesis’ challenge to meet at WWE Payback in a Last Man Standing Match. Such a bout can only be won by incapacitating one’s opponent to the point at which he cannot rise to his feet at the referee’s count of 10.
Before the high-stakes encounter began, the self-professed “necessary evil” seemed to have an early advantage, with the hulking Luke Harper and Erick Rowan essentially turning the bout into a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. Fortunately, Cena had backup in the form of Jimmy & Jey Uso, who stormed the ring and neutralized Bray’s family members.
While the WWE Tag Team Champions kept Rowan & Harper in check outside the ring, Cena nevertheless found himself in for a psychologically draining battle between the ropes, with Wyatt twice avoiding the Attitude Adjustment and hitting Sister Abigail on the Cenation leader. As the Chicago crowd grew more raucous, Wyatt introduced a steel chair to the bout, repeatedly battering the Cenation leader with the metal implement before Cena got hold of it and eked out some retribution against the backwoods preacher. Showing the same ingenuity that earned him a Windy City Victory over Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules 2012, Cena searched under the ring for a table in a move that whipped the Allstate Arena crowd into a frenzy.
Cena’s plan to drive Wyatt through the hardwood backfired, however, when Wyatt avoided an Attitude Adjustment and slammed Cena through the table instead. Wyatt then capitalized by further punishing Cena with the steel steps which, moments later, served as a podium for the macabre maestro as he conducted legions of singing WWE Universe members who have chosen to “follow the buzzards.”
The weary Cena gained some necessary momentum, however, when he hurled those steel steps over the top rope and onto Wyatt. Although that phenomenal feat of strength would have left most competitors down for the count, Wyatt somehow got back to his feet. In the ensuing brawl, Cena hit Wyatt with another Attitude Adjustment onto the floor, but it was Rowan & Harper that would help The Eater of Worlds to his feet. This interruption led to more chaos as The Usos squared off with Wyatt’s imposing family members — bedlam that at one point distracted the official from noticing that Bray had fallen to the ground for a potential 10-count. As the dueling duos nullified one another with a pair of massive table collisions, the bout became a true one-on-one affair once more.
After Wyatt sent both himself and the Cenation leader crashing through the ringside barrier, these bitter rivals fought out into the crowd and up the entrance ramp, firing off pyrotechnics in their wake as they clashed in the tech area. In the end, Cena hit Wyatt with an Attitude Adjustment that sent “The Man of 1,000 Truths” crashing through an equipment case. Then, in a show of incredible power, Cena pushed another massive case onto the destroyed case where Wyatt lay prone, entombing The Eater of Worlds for a 10-count and arguably giving Cena one of the hardest fought victories in his career.
Has Cena saved the WWE Universe from the seemingly irresistible lure of Bray Wyatt, or will The Eater of Worlds re-emerge more diabolical than ever? For now, at least, Cena has proven that the whole world isn't in Wyatt’s hands. And perhaps that’s the greatest victory of all.
