My answer to this question,will be a resounding YES! I have reasons for this. Firstly,he has a tremendous amount of support from the WWE Universe. Secondly,he is talented in the ring. Lastly,he can cut AWESOME promos.
Getting the WWE Universe's support is not an easy thing to do. It is something that must be built over time. However,Ziggler has done it. He never fails to get the crowd chanting, "Let's Go Ziggler" whenever he wrestles. One example will be the Raw Crowd after Wrestlemania 29. The crowd went BONKERS when Ziggler came out with his briefcase to cash it in on Alberto Del Rio. For your information,Ziggler was the HEEL here and Del Rio was the FACE. The crowd erupted when Ziggler became the new World Heavyweight Champion. That was truly one of the loudest pops in the PG era!
Ziggler can wrestle flawlessly in the ring. The moves he does,are quick and neat. He can sell moves well too. In my opinion,I feel that he is the next best move seller in WWE history after Shawn Michaels.
Speaking on the mic,is something Ziggler is born with. When Ziggler speaks,it will DEFINITELY be great! Ziggler can actually cut an AWESOME promo.
Having the WWE Universe's support,Wrestling excellently in the ring and cutting awesome promos are the ingredients needed for success in WWE. Ziggler has all the ingredients needed. So I still don't get why WWE isn't giving him a title but making him JOB to wrestlers like Santino.
WWE NEEDS to do something to get Ziggler's career back on track.
